Siam Gypsy Junction, where the Thai hipster scenes meets the wild west. Located in the North West of Bangkok, not too far from Bang Sue Station, you’ll find this gem of a destination. Tucked beside the railway tracks, a strip of saloons and flea market stalls make up this hodge-podge hot spot. Made to resemble an old timey ol’ west town, but with a full serving of funky vibe. Browse antiques, vintage clothes, cassettes, and knick-knacks while enjoying the live music and atmosphere.
There’s also substance to this spectacle, in the form of food and bars.
We enjoyed some delicious pork (not sure exactly what kind as there were no menus and none of the staff spoke English) and topped it off this an astonishingly large ice cream bowl with nitrogen steam and m&m’s.
…so tasty we had to finish every last drop!
If you find yourself in the northern end, or find the desire to make the trip, it is worth checking out.
I never saw this place. It looks really cool.
